Vision Wallcoverings is a trademark of Pacific Wallcoverings Ltd, New Zealand.
As one of the largest wallpaper manufacturers in the southern hemisphere and the only manufacturer in Australasia, Pacific is a major player in the international wallcoverings industry.
We also import a large selection of wallcoverings, from Europe, Asia and America. Our design and manufacturing is centred on one site in Porirua, a short drive from Wellington.
Brands
Pacific Wallcoverings has two key brands—Ashley and Vision. Both are sold in New Zealand and exported to Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom, Turkey, USA Saudi Arabia, Tahiti, Japan, Hong Kong and Korea. We also make own-brand wallpapers for leading retailers such as Resene, Levene, Guthrie Bowron and Colourplus.
Currently employing around 75 staff, Pacific Wallcoverings is part of the Tiri Group. With a turnover in excess of $150 million, the group employs around 800 people nationwide. Tiri is owned by Hauraki Private Equity No.1 Fund, which is managed by Goldman Sachs JBWere (NZ).
History
The Company was formed in 1995, when three of New Zealand’s leading wallcovering companies merged. Ashley Wallpaper Manufacturing, Vision Wallcoverings and Wallcoverings International combined strengths to claim the number one slot in the local market and develop their international potential. The merger enabled the new company to consolidate its skill base, as well as its plant and machinery.
